In response to Coronavirus 2019 (Covid-19)
With the increase of Covid-19 cases across the United States and an uptick of cases in Minnesota, MachinesUsed.com has made moves to maximize our social distancing. We feel it is important to do what we can to minimize the spread of this virus. It is important for our customers, community and the people who work here that the spread of this virus is minimized.
Most employees of Machinesused.com will be working from home for the time being. While our sales staff and office staff will be working remotely, we will still be able to assist our customers without interruptions. Our office is open for receiving and shipment of machinery and auction items.
If you’re looking to buy, sell, auction, or appraise your used machinery, we are still here to help you during normal business hours which are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. We just ask that you please call ahead if you plan on stopping in, so that we can be sure to have the proper staff here to assist you.
As of now our staff on site at MachinesUsed.com are following the recommended CDC guidelines which include:
- Staying home when you are sick or even experiencing some symptoms.
- Washing our hands frequently and thoroughly with warm, soapy water for at least 20 seconds.
- Covering our mouth with tissues whenever we sneeze, and discard used tissues in the trash.
- Cough into our elbow, not our hands.
- Avoid people who are sick with respiratory symptoms.
- Practice “social distancing,” by maintaining a 6-foot buffer between others, if possible.
- Avoid handshakes, and instead greet others with a friendly gesture without physical contact.
- Clean frequently touched surfaces, including your desk, phone, and keyboard.
We also encourage our customers to follow the same steps above to reduce transmission of any communicable diseases, especially staying home when you are sick or experiencing any symptoms.
