This small machine shop auction brought in good numbers for the machine shop owners in January. The business owners manufactured gun components of their own design at this facility. Last year they sold the product rights and decided to close the machine shop. Bids matched or exceeded our projections for most all of the items in the sale. Used CNC machines can be repaired and resold. Mechanical issues with machining equipment don't have to be a death sentence. If industrial machines have enough value, they can be repaired and resold -- not scrapped. That's better for the environment and the economy.

This Haas VM-3 CNC Vertical Machining Center has been shipped from Machinesused.com to a machine shop in Princeton, Minnesota, to make parts for US Defense.
